The Evans Head Aquatic Centre was officially opening on the 7th of August 2010 by Federal member, Janelle Saffin.
The Evans Head Aquatic Centre is open
for your enjoyment and is a credit to the Evans Head Pool Commitee, the local community,
the Richmond Valley Council
and the building contractors, Glenzeil.

The development of the Aquatic Centre has been centrally focused around providing a sport and recreation facility to the community that not only embraces the existing culture of the area, but seeks to inject new spirit and excitement into the community.

The design of the facility purposely addresses the needs of participants and user groups, by ensuring appropriate provision of space, functionality and trend.

Green initiatives have been incorporated into the design of the facility aiming to minimise the centre's footprint on the earth.

A wide range of wet and dry structured programs and services are offered to cater for all sectors of the community, regardless of age or level of skill, whilst encouraging individuals to achieve swimming excellence.
