EVANS HEAD AQUATIC CENTRE'S PARALYMPIAN 
CONGRATULATIONS JACQUELINE FRENEY OAM 
- 8 X PARALYMPIC CHAMPION
FOR BEING HONOURED IN CANBERRA WITH THE TITLE OF
YOUNG AUSTRALIAN OF THE YEAR
by the NSW Australia Day Council.
Due to her incredible Performances at the 2012 London Paralympic Games winning eight gold medals Jacqueline has become the most decorated Paralympian at the games and the No. 1 Paralympian in the World.  Jacqueline also broke 3 World Records and 4 Paralympic Records at the games.  Over the past 12 months Jacqueline has also volunteered her time to give motivational talks at various schools, associations and organisations.
Jacqueline has now moved to the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra to train in her preparations for the Rio de Janiero Paralympic Games.
